During the Dragon Boat Festival, Amiral project team in Saudi Arabia held a cultural event. The event brought together colleagues from China, Saudi Arabia, and other countries. Colleagues from Client Aramco were invited to the event. Folks sat together to share cultural knowledge and foster a sense of community.

Chinese colleagues highlighted cultural specifics of the Dragon Boat Festival, while non-Chinese colleagues got a hands-on experience in the “Xiang Nang” (scented sachets) tossing competition. People cooperated tacitly with laughter continued. The laughter was followed by an immersive experience with intangible cultural heritage handcrafts, where everyone jointly participated in production of Song dynasty brocade pearl paintings and Cloisonne enameling artwork. Foreign guests experienced the beauty of traditional crafts with the guide of Chinese friends. The event concluded with a Dragon Boat Festival themed cake in a warm atmosphere.

This event showcased the traditional Chinese festival, fostering a togetherness among employees from different countries. Going forward, the project team will continue its journey of cultural exchanges and people-to-people connections as the project progresses.
