On January 8, 2026, the equity transfer agreement signing ceremony was held to commemorate the acquisition of East China Pipeline Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd. (“ECPDRI”) by Sinopec Nanjing Engineering Co., Ltd. (“SNEI”), a subsidiary of Sinopec Engineering (Group) Co., Ltd. (“SEG”), marking the integration of ECPDRI into SEG’s overall operation. The move is designed to make the most of the synergy between two strong players to gain a competitive edge in the oil and gas pipeline service sector.

Following the acquisition decision by Sinopec, SNEI intends to leverage the expertise and experiences of ECPDRI to offer a “one-stop shop” portfolio of oil and gas pipeline services covering hydrogen, aviation fuel and chemical products, among others.
