On October 12, the first precast wall panel was erected at Amiral Package 5A/C Project, executed by Sinopec Nanjing Engineering Middle East Co., Ltd. (SNEMEC) under an EPC contract for SATORP.

The precast approach was employed as a cost-effective and time-efficient solution. A special team was set up to figure out the precast panel arrangement and bolted connection of the structural elements visualized in a BIM model, demonstrating the ingenuity and expertise to deliver building solutions safely and with good quality.

This first attempt at the precast wall panel erection opens the door for putting in place all remaining precast elements. The success story of the first-of-its-kind building solution at the Project encourages more attempt at the modular building approach in the future projects to achieve on-time delivery safely and within budget.
