Recently, the Saudi WAS-OSBL Project undertaken by the Erection & Installation Branch of SNEI has successfully completed the erection of the Reverse Osmosis (RO) shelter’s steel structure main frame in 20 days.
Tackling challenges including dust storms, simultaneous operations(SIMOPS), and the intricate timing to secure internal passages in the building, the project management team acted swiftly by conducting multiple on-site surveys, continually optimizing the construction plan, while taking a "staged and phased" construction approach. By precisely planning the lifting sequence and equipment routes, the team pulled off the lifting operations while eliminating simultaneous operations (SIMOPS) hazards.
The achievement of this milestone lays the groundwork for subsequent construction activities and marks a remarkable step ahead in the construction.
