Recently, good news has come from the Saudi Aramco East-West Pipeline (EWPL) Project—the project team, leveraging its exceptional performance in the testing of electrical and instrumentation (E&I) systems for the pumping station, has successfully completed the energization of the substation at Pumping Station 1 (PS1). In recognition of this remarkable achievement, the Client Aramco Project Management Team (PMT)  expressed high appreciation and formally conferred recognition to the team.

To expedite the substation energization process, the project team and the Electrical and Instrument Branch of SNEI (SNEI E&I) first conducted a thorough analysis of the challenges and constraints, then developed a job-specific method statement and clear control milestones. Concurrently, the team took a proactive approach to engage in communication with multiple stakeholders, including Aramco PMT,Projects Inspection Division (PID) , Operation and vendor; they repeatedly reviewed and confirmed technical details through professional consultations, which effectively guaranteed the feasibility of the method statement and the precision of on-site execution.

From the development of the method statement, the precise on-site execution during the process to the subsequent testing, the team’s productive and meticulous execution, as well as its spirit of tackling challenges and delivering value, has earned   recognition from all involved stakeholders.
