First LLIs at Amiral Project Started Delivery from Local Vendor’s Workshop

On July 10, the first two mounded bullet tanks, long-lead items (LLIs) at Saudi Aramco’s Amiral project, executed under an EPC contract by SNEI, started delivery to the job site, following a successful factory acceptance test (FAT).

The bullet tank farm, comprising 27 units in total, is set to be the largest of its kind in the Middle East. Each tank in this delivery measures 75.5 meters in length, 8.5 meters in diameter, and weighs over 950 tons.

To ensure on-time delivery, the project team, in conjunction with the client, dispatched resident engineers to the manufacturer's workshop for expediting. Regular coordination meetings were held to track manufacturing progress and facilitate progress payments. Through such concerted efforts, the first delivery was achieved 90 days ahead of schedule.

Moving forward, the project team will assist the logistics company to meticulously plan critical transport routes and closely monitor the delivery progress, to enable safe and timely arrival at the job site.
