A contract signing ceremony was held at the SABIC office in Saudi Arabia on August 7 for Amiral Storage Project with the attendance of officials from the two companies. SNEI officials include PENG Fucheng, Vice President, LI Peng, Managing Director of subsidiary SNEMEC, and CHEN Fei, Project Manager.

SABIC awarded the lump sum contract on July 15, 2024. With a schedule of 868 days, the contract entails the implementation of engineering, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning assistance, start-up, performance test and handover, to be executed as an Out of Kingdom (OOK) contract and an In Kingdom (IK) contract.

The ceremony was officiated by Abdullah, Global Project Procurement, SABIC. Metab Al-Shammari, Chairman of the Board of Directors, SABTANK, and PENG Fucheng reflected on the journey of SNEI delivering projects for SABIC over the years. Metab highlighted the significance of this project as part of the Saudi Vision 2030, and wished a successful completion of the project leveraging SNEI’s extensive knowledge, skills and expertise in delivering similar projects. PENG Fucheng appreciated the trust and support from SABIC on SNEI to undertake the large-scale lump sum contract following the NDA project, and committed execution of the project on time, safely, with good quality, and within budget by capitalizing on the experiences amassed over the years since SNEI secured its foothold in Kingdom in 2005.
