Recently, SNEI’s Sinopec Nanjing Engineering Middle East Co., Ltd. (SNEMEC) was awarded the AMIRAL tank contract from SABIC in Saudi Arabia, with a contract price of about 200 million US dollars (including tax). This award marks the first medium- to large-sized EPC project to be undertaken by SNEMEC, demonstrating SNEI’s capability in executing a sizeable EPC project for SABIC after the NDA project. SNEI is committed to providing professional services to the client by leveraging the local presence of its subsidiary SNEMEC in Kingdom and its integrated engineering, procurement and construction expertise.
The project, as part of the associated facilities of Saudi Aramco's AMIRAL project, is intended to cover the export and import of butadiene product and the export of MTBE product. The project, located in the King Fahd Industrial Port, will be executed on a lump sum basis with a schedule of 29 months.
