SNEMEC’s EP2 Team Conducts First Aid Training

On April 8, 2024, SNEMECs EP2 Team conducted a first aid training session by Dr. Marcelino, a training director with Nahj Al-Shifa General Medical Group. 20 people including foremen and other management roles participated in the training. Dr. Marcelino educated the participants on the proper way of performing Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and using the Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. This course is essential to provide the team members with basic and simple instructions and procedures in case any medical emergency occurs at the workplace.

In this event, the participants took a blended training course covering the first aid CPR+AED basics followed by a demonstration of chest compressions, mouth-to-mouth ventilation, and AED techniques on the manikin.

Dr. Marcelino walked the participants through the steps of performing CPR and using the AED in a hands-on skills session training where the participants are able to practice such techniques and qualify the test.

Moving forward, the EP2 team will keep up the medical emergency training momentum centering around the wellness of employees as they strive to complete the project tasks.
