On October 17, 2023, SNEI inaugurated the upskilling program in Nanjing for newly hired Saudi employees involved in Aramco’s Upgrade Crude Oil Delivery System (EWPL Project) being performed by SNEI in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This program is launched in collaboration with the Aramco-developed Maharat Construction Training Center (MCTC) and Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications (NJUPT) in order to build a pipeline of local talents and foster cultural ties between China and Saudi Arabia as part of the Belt and Road Initiative.

This 3-month full-time training program developed by SNEI, Saudi Aramco, NJUPT, and MCTC will leverage their combined contents and advanced educational and training means to offer professional teaching, hands-on activities, and cultural experiences. 20 newly hired Saudi employees will learn Mandarin, Chinese culture, refining and chemical engineering knowledge and work skills at NJUPT, and get acquainted with SNEI’s corporate culture, journey and achievements.

This training fosters cross-cultural integration, upskilling, innovative mindset, and project service skills, and serves as the hallmark of deepened collaboration between SNEI and Saudi Aramco, painting a canvas of cross-cultural exchange that unites China and Saudi Arabia.
