On August 5th, SNEI signed the Framework Agreement for the Cooperation for New Energy development and utilization with Zhong An United Coal Chemical Co., Ltd. and SINOPEC Star Co., Ltd.. The commencement ceremony of the project was held successfully in Zhong'an.

Zhong'an solar photovoltaic project is an EPC project, which is invested by SINOPEC Star Co., Ltd.. 7 units of distributed solar power generation will be built on the roof of packaging and warehouse. The total installed capacity is 7.63 MW. The project is planned to be completed by the end of the year. It is expected to produce 8.4875 million kWh of power per year, saving 2942.64t coal, reducing 8382.33t CO₂ and 252.23t SO₂ emissions.
