On  November 12, the C-0303 tower was successfully lifted to place for the 600kt/a  condensate oil project in Zhuhai undertaken by SNEI.

Lifting  the tower received high attention and great support from the owner, CNOOC  Huizhou Refining & Chemical Company. Owner management and project management  team, supervisor and management from other involved parties witnessed the entire  lifting process on site.

Since  arrival of the towers at site on October 27, installation works started on site  for auxiliary pipes, labor protections, and insulation. As the tower delivery  sequence and lifting sequence are inconsistent, in order to complete the tower  lifting in a safe and smooth manner, the PMT convened special meetings with the  concerned parties every day to discuss working schedule by each discipline for  each tower, interface between different works, and arrangement of manpower, and  proactively communicated with the riggers to discuss the equipment lifting  parameters, to make preparations for the successful  lifting.

The  whole lifting process is stable and smooth, which demonstrated SNEI’s  state-of-the-art rigging techniques, and won high recognition by owner and  supervisor.
