On  September 16, the air compressor station optimization and revamp installation  works undertaken by SNEI Storage Tank Engineering Branch achieved handover with  good quality and on schedule for SINOPEC Wuhan  Company.

The  project overall schedule is 175 days. It is a small project but involves  everything. In particular, the project is located inside an existing plant,  spotty civil works, welding and erection works for spherical tanks, revamp and  expansion for process piping have added difficulties to HSE management for  construction inside the tank farm, and the congested area has caused increased  amount of overlapping activities going on in parallel. In order to make sure the  project is completed in a safe manner with good quality, the PMT adopted the  management method of “dedicated person for coordinating construction work,  dedicated person for HSE management, and dedicated person for quality  supervision”, and successfully completed all construction activities for the  project. First-time pass rate for welding of spherical tank is 100%.  High-standard intermediate handover was achieved according to Client  requirements
