On September 3, 2014 overhaul and revamp project for the hydrogenation and reforming units of YPC Aromatics Plant was completed successfully. The overhaul and revamp lasted 33 days, by ensuring safety and quality, the hydrogenation unit was handed over to Client 2 days ahead of schedule, and the reforming unit 3 days ahead, and starting from September 4, startup support was carried out.
During the overhaul and revamp, the PMT overcame tremendous difficulties. In order to guarantee handover date, the PMT held a number of coordination meetings with the contractors for brainstorming to optimize the method statement, adjust the milestone schedule, reasonably arrange the work sequence, and increase the efficiency. The handover was made ahead of schedule without safety or quality incidents through concerted efforts by all people involved in the project.
Client highly recognizes the contribution by the PMT and SNEI. The PMT will continue to assist the startup activities.
