On May 29, Saudi Sulfuric Acid EPC Project kicked off site work with excavation for the foundation of the 132kV substation.
After the groundbreaking ceremony for the project on May 9, the PMT made overall planning and full coordination, and held multiple meetings to finalize the timeframe for the site excavation work. With concerted efforts by HSE, QA/QC, machinery and other teams, site work was kicked off according to the plan.
During the 20 days, the PMT has overcome difficulties including scarcity of resources in northern Saudi Arabia, remote distance from jobsite to city, staggering communication, and language problems for communication with local people, and has worked together to make an overall plan, paving the way for subsequent construction activities.
