On Nov. 11, SNEI convened the cadre conference to call up all cadres to work hard for two months to complete all targeted tasks for 2013.
Mr. Xiang Wenwu, SNEI’s GM & secretary of SNEI’s Party Committee, delivered a speech at the conference. He made report about SNEI’s production & operation, reform & development and other matters from Jan. to Oct., analyzed the current situation, tasks and difficulties faced by SNEI, and assigned major work for the next step. GM Xiang Wenwu pointed out that SNEI launched “three battles” in the second half of 2013, and all cadres & employees implemented the spirit determined at the mid-year working conference in an earnest way, adopted practical & effective measures, tried their best to win the “three battles” and obtained certain effectiveness. Via joint efforts of all SNEI’s personnel, production was organized in a steady and controllable manner, new breakthrough of market development was achieved, and new effect of reform & development and stable workforce was obtained, all these brought SNEI good reputation and market. GM Xiang Wenwu emphasized that it was only two months left, so this period was key period when we complete or even exceed all targeted tasks for 2013. At present, SNEI’s contracting pressure is still very huge, and the situation is very urgent, so we shall strive to implement, temper and improve all work on the platform of large projects, and optimize the business structure, so that continuous & effective development can be achieved. Meanwhile, it is difficult to guarantee the benefits. Moreover, the Spring Festival is approaching, so this period is a special stage for stabilization of our workforce. Implementation of projects becomes more difficult, so we need to input more efforts to achieve the goals of the whole year. In order to ensure that we can win the “three battles”, GM Xiang Wenwu requested all personnel of SNEI to further recognize the situation, enhance responsibility & crisis awareness and try to achieve new gains and breakthroughs for all work via hard work. Each unit and department were required to define the target tasks for the next two months, prepare a detailed work plan, and obtain new breakthroughs for key research projects with respect to market development; at the same time, powerful workforce which can complete tasks and achieve goals shall be established, and SNEI’s management shall take the lead to make employees from each functional department define the goals and assign responsibilities; they’re bound to develop detailed measures, and especially, efforts shall be strengthened to undertake tasks and recover funds. The majority of SNEI’s party members & cadres were expected to set examples first, be the first to bear hardships, play the nail spirit, and work hard to complete various objectives for 2013 successfully with the decision (continue to work until the objectives are achieved).
