On the morning of Aug. 29, SNEI and Sinopec Jiujiang Company signed the EPC framework agreement for hydrogen production project with coal. Mr. Xiang Wenwu, GM and party secretary of SNEI, and Mr. Qin Weizhong, GM of Sinopec Jiujiang Company, jointly signed the agreement.
The framework agreement was signed to further strengthen both parties’ cooperation, bring the management advantage of Sinopec Jiujiang Company into full play and promote more reasonable configuration of resources, so that SNEI can create characteristics in the area of coal chemical EPC project and enhance its market competitiveness.
Prior to the signing ceremony, accompanied by SNEI’s leaders (such as Xiang Wenwu, Chen Dexing, Wang Shuhua), Qin Weizhong and his team visited the project department for hydrogen production with coal and expressed their regards to the employees of the project.
At the signing ceremony, Mr. Wang Genbao, the project manager for hydrogen production with coal reported the basic information and progress of the project, and both parties made discussion and interface for the matters which need attention.
Qin Weizhong said, SNEI and Sinopec Jiujiang Company had common idea, i.e., create model starting from design, which needs effective control over five aspects (safety, quality, investment, progress, and contract). He believed that SNEI had such strength. He also hoped that digital and fine management should be strengthened during implementation of the project to form characteristics and highlights.
Xiang Wenwu, on behalf of SNEI, extended a warm welcome to Qin Weizhong and his team, and expressed sincere thanks to sufficient trust given by Sinopec Jiujiang Company. He requested SNEI to reflect the attitude of being leader in the project, set the objective of “construction of an excellent project” from the very beginning of the project, have measures and guarantees in place via organization, and provide full support in terms of HR, finance & field operation to ensure smooth operation of the project. He put forward suggestions for the project operation and both parties’ cooperation.
