On  July 2, the main production unit of Wuhan 800ktpa ethylene project—400ktpa  polypropylene unit started up with introduction of main catalyst. At 22:30 PM of  the same day, the whole flow of the unit was lined up after startup of the  extrusion and pelletizing section, which marked the one trial successful startup  of the unit in a safe, environment friendly and economical manner.  

The  interim handover of the unit was made on Nov. 30, 2013 after the mechanical  completion. The unit consists of two 200ktpa production lines. During the course  of construction and commissioning for this unit, all employees of SNEI involved  in this project fully brought the spirit of hardworking and challenging into  full play, endeavored to speed up the project progress, strictly controlled the  construction quality. They fully demonstrated the SNEI’s work style  ‘Elaborateness, Rigorousness, Pragmatism, and Innovation’ and the comprehensive  management strength of our company, all these contributed much to the interim  handover of the unit with high quality and success of one-trial commissioning  with introduction of feed.

The  owner, i.e., Sinopec Wuhan Company, sent a special letter of thanks to our  company recently, in which they extended their heart-felt gratitude and sincere  respect to our company and all employees of our company involved in the  construction of the polypropylene unit.
