Saudi Arabia WASIT Project Achieved 1.0 Million Safe Man-hours

As  of June 18, 2013, WASIT project in Saudi Arabia successfully achieved 1.0  million safe man-hours.

From  the commencement of construction of on-site temporary facilities for WASIT  project in Saudi Arabia on Feb. 14, 2013 onward, a safe period of time has  passed for one and half year. The project department consistently adheres to the  philosophy of ‘safety is always the top priority’ and follows safety regulations  and rules all the time, and all personnel of the department have taken a series  of measures to guarantee the safety in production on site. They established and  elaborate safety management system to enhance safety management and to improve  the safety awareness of all employees. On-site tour inspection by leaders and  cadres and supervision and check of trade union on labor protection are  maintained in a normalized manner.

The  project department focuses on safety management, leaders of four organizations,  i.e. party committee, administration, trade union and youth league, work  together to do a good job, so that the safety awareness is robust in the minds  of all staff. However, previous good performance is a history. Combining the  construction tasks specified for the second half of this year, the project  department exerts a high pressure on safety management in a consistent way and  members of project department always have safety management in their minds, they  practically implement ‘safety first’ in an efforts to ensure the project handed  over in a safe and quality manner.
