On  June 6, “Seminar on Promotion of EPC &PM Development” hosted by the  Exploration and Design Association of Jiangsu Province and undertaken by Sinopec  Nanjing Engineering & Construction Inc. (SNEI) was held in Nanjing, and  leaders and experts from more than 30 enterprises in the exploration and design  industry of Jiangsu attended the seminar.

Mr.  Xiang Wenwu, the GM of SNEI and secretary of the party committee, delivered the  welcome speech at the seminar, expressed gratitude to Exploration  and Design Association of Jiangsu Province for providing a good communication  platform to colleagues in Jiangsu, and expected that, via this platform, we  could share achievements from EPC and PM in the fields of chemical and refining  at home and abroad in the recent ten years of development with colleagues, and  communicate experiences with each other to achieve improvement and grow  together.

Mr.  Rong Shili, the general secretary of construction project management and EPC  sub-association of China Exploration & Design Association and president of  China Petroleum & Chemical Engineering  Survey and Design Association, delivered a speech entitled “EPC  and PM – Road to Reform of Exploration & Design Enterprise” at the  seminar, in which, he analyzed the current situation of the EPC and PM in China,  looked forward to the future prospect and put forward the idea, i.e., how should  the exploration & design industry in China make proper  response.

Then,  SNEI, Jiangsu Electric Power Design Institution and Chemical Industry  Geotechnical Engineering Co., Ltd., as the enterprise which has obtained certain  result with respect to development of EPC and PM, introduced respective  experiences and experience from different aspects.

Representatives  of each unit attended the seminar made a heated discussion and exchange on the  theme of the seminar, and the seminar was successfully  closed.
