On Feb. 15, the heaviest equipment (hydrogenation reactor R-69331) of the NDA project in Saudi Arabia was hoisted in place successfully. The reactor was heavy in 401 tons, the diameter was about 4m, and its length was 27m. The hoisting was mainly performed by a main crawler crane with capacity of 600t and supported by a crawler crane with capacity of 280t. After the major crane travelled about ten meters, the reactor was installed in place and rested on the foundation which was paved with 20 bolts in a stable manner, and the whole hoisting process lasted for 3 hours.
