On  Nov. 30, the interim handover was performed for the 400 KTA PP Unit of Wuhan  Ethylene Project constructed by our company in the mode of EPC contract  

This  unit consists of two 200 KTA PP production lines. Line # 1 adopts the second  generation of loop reactor PP process technology of Sinopec (ST-Ⅱ) to produce  homopolymer and random natural color pellets with the capacity of 25 tons per  hour; line # 2 adopts HORIZONE gas phase PP process technology developed by JPP  company to produce ordinary impact resistance products and special impact  resistance products (NEWCON) with the ratio of 1:1. The operation flexibility of  the polymerization system is 70~110% of the unit’s design capacity and that of  the post handling system such as extruding and pelletizing (finishing) system is  70~130% of the unit’s design capacity. The production auxiliary facilities,  which are installed in Line # 1 (ST) unit and shared with Line # 2, consists of  extruding and pelletizing building, field auxiliary room, electricity  transformation and distribution  substation, chemicals warehouse, alkyl aluminum incinerator, valve room and  waste water sump.

During  the execution of this project, leadership of Wuhan Ethylene Project Management  Department, all functional departments and production units actively provided  guidance, promptly made coordination and offered full cooperation to solve  specific problems restraining the project progress in order to ensure the  project in a smooth progress.
