In the afternoon of November 2, Performance assessment on non-Chinese employees of SNEI was successfully held in the Saudi Aramco hydrocracker project department for the first time. The HR supervisor, HR administrators in relevant organizations and eight Nepalese examinees have participated in the assessment activity. The assessment consisted of two parts: written test and practical operation on site, and the assessment lasted for two hours; staff that passed the assessment will be promoted from general workers to assistant scaffolders. The success of assessment has provided experience for constantly improving the performance assessment system in the future, and this also indicates that the company’s expatriate management has stepped into a new stage.
With the rapid development of overseas business, SNEI has directly recruited 300 persons from countries such as India, Niebuhr in 2011 and 2012 to fill in posts in the Saudi Branch Company and the direct operations on quality, construction, logistics management, on-site pipeline, electrical, instrument, scaffolding, etc. of various projects; The total foreign employees working in Saudi is almost 500 including the original foreign staff. The employees who have passed the assessment will get job promotion and their salary and benefits will be increased as well. Before the 10th of this month, the performance assessment on assistant foreman, assistant electrician and assistant instrument technician will be gradually carried out. The project team will complete the approval procedure by the 15th of this month, and by the end of the month, Saudi Branch will sign the supplementary agreements with the non-Chinese employees to complete the entire performance assessment activity.
