Recently,  the Construction Team of SEI Beihai Refining Revamp Petrochemical Project  Department sent a letter of commendation to SNEI to commend SNEI for the  excellent and efficient performance in completing the assembly and welding and  associated works for the seven 3,000m³ LPG spherical tanks using  state-of-the-art construction method and standardized management method during  the construction of the LPG tank farm and pump shelter for the Beihai Refining  Relocation and Revamp Petrochemical project.

SNEI  Storage Tank Branch Company undertakes the construction for this project. By  strictly following the “Management Manual for Project Construction” and “Key  Process Confirmation” rules developed by SNEI Storage Tank Branch Company, and  also by strengthening control of various project management aspects, the site  construction management team has worked proactively, listened to suggestions  from various parties, overcome many difficulties, and made sure the project is  completed on schedule, which has been highly commended by the Client and the  Supervision Contractor alike.

In  the end of September, the Owner inspected the project, the once-through rate for  the hold points was 100%, and the average once-through rate for the welding of  the seven spherical tanks was 99.16%, the once-through rate for welding of  process pipes was 99.03%. The overall quality is excellent, which is a showcase  of the advantages and professional capabilities of SNEI in the construction  management organization for large-sized spherical tank farm.
