On  July 30, the system supporting works (II)  (including propylene tank farm & pump shelter, and LPG tank farm & pump  shelter) of Relocation and Modification  Petrochemical Project in Beihai Oil Refinery, which is undertaken by SNEI  Storage Tank Engineering Subsidiary, successfully passed the acceptance of  interim handover. It is another interim handover works of Beihai project after  the interim handover of the intermediate feedstock tank  farm works (II)  achieved at a high standard.

The  spherical tank farm mainly includes 3 propylene spheres with the capacity of 2,000m3, one sphere with the  capacity of 1,000m3, and 7 liquefied petroleum gas spheres with the capacity of  3,000m3.  The works covers civil engineering of sphere foundation, installation of  spheres, motors and pumps, erection of steel structure and pump shelter, and the  installation of process pipelines, firefighting, electrical equipment  instruments and etc.

Since  the official construction kicked off by the civil engineering discipline in May  2010, we have safely and smoothly completed all construction tasks with high  efficiency and high quality by overcoming difficulties and hardness in a serious  manner and facing with the severe environment of high temperature and much  rainfall in Beihai city, and have received praises from the owners or  supervision company for several times because we set being a responsible  contractor as our focus.

Assembly  and installation of TK-001 sphere in the propylene tank farm, erection of  scaffolds used in assembly welding of the sphere, erection of windbreak tent  applicable for assembly welding of the sphere, foundation of TK-007 in the LPG  tank farm and movable welding rods distribution station all have  been awarded as  sample projects by the owners. The smooth interim handover of the sphere tank  farm is another shining point of Beihai project, and it also establishes  another landmark flag for the sphere construction of SNEI to reach the  first-class level in China.
