On March 4, 2024, Mr. Guan Kejiang, Director of People’s Daily Middle East, visited SNEMEC to get acquainted with SNEI’s operation in Kingdom. Mr. Guan was accompanied by Mr. Chen, Executive Director of the Project King Salman International Complex for Maritime Industries and Services (KSICMS) undertaken by SEPCO Electric Power Construction Corporation. SNEMEC management Mr. Li Peng and Mr. Wu Shaohua hosted the visit.

Wu Shaohua briefed the delegation on the journey of SNEI, its international growth, the operation of SNEMEC, the ongoing projects in Kingdom, the development of international and local talents, corporate social responsibility campaigns, and cross-cultural exchanges, among other topics.

Mr. Guan shared the history of People’s Daily, its international presence, and the journey of People’s Daily Middle East. Mr. Guan highlighted SNEI’s success stories as one of the forerunners along the Belt and Road countries, and shared insights on media coverage of the central state-owned enterprise (CSOE)’s journey along the Belt and Road countries.

In collaboration with People’s Daily, SNEI will put more spotlight on its global endeavor as a CSOE,to tell China's stories to the world.
